The KAMA organisation was founded by sensei Jass Riat in August 2000. Since its conception it has grown into and organisation that has 54 clubs throughout the U.K. with a small international following.
When KAMA was established it began as a one style organisation and now includes groups practising Shotokan, Wado-Ryu, MEE GEE Raigaan Muay (Thai/Kickboxing), Shotokia, Kyokushinkai, Goju Ryu, Taku Kon and freestyle sport Karate.
As the chief instructor I have a strong passion to preserve the past traditions of martial arts, however it is important to keep an open mind, finding innovating and dynamic methods of teaching.
Within the KAMA organisation all instructors are encouraged to take an active part in discussing ways to make KAMA more successful. Instructors have the opportunity to meet regularly with the executive committee to put forward any proposals they may have concerning the organisation or their individual clubs. All instructors benefit from keeping their independance, with an admin office that provides 24 hours support and guidance if it is required.
KAMA is dedicated to the promotion of all martial arts through friendship and co-operation amongst instructors and students.
